Entry from: Paris, France Entry Title: "Paris" Entry: "Right now it's actually a week after this trip, but I'm updating it on this day for record keepings sake. When we arrived in Paris, we had to get on a bus to take us to the city centre. The bus ride took about 30 minutes. When we got off the bus, we went in search of a Metro station. I noticed this other couple who were also in search of the Metro station, so we introduced ourselves and all went off to find it. The other couple were heading off to their hotel. We had no hotel or hostel plans at all for Paris, so we asked them how much their's was. It was a very reasonable price for a hotel - €50 a night, so we went with them to the hotel and checked in. The room was very nice - it had a double bed, a twin bed, and a twin bunk bed over the double bed. PLUS, best of all, we had our own bathroom! The only downside was that the hotel had NO AC! Ahh! And it was extremely hot in Paris. No breeze or clouds. Once we were settled into our hotel room, we hopped back on the Metro to explore some of the city. We got on the metro in hopes of reaching Notre-Dame. The metro got half way there, and then an annoucer came on the speaker and said something in French. We shrugged and stayed on the subway.
